How to use the ballpoint pen

Turn the upper barrel to make the tip come out. Stop the rotation at the color you want. [Fig.2]

To retract the pen tip, turn the upper barrel. [Fig.2]
How to use the mechanical pencil

Turn the upper barrel to make the mechanical pencil come out. Press the eraser cap to make the lead come out. [Fig.2]

To retract the lead, gently press the lead tip while pressing the eraser cap.

To retract the writing unit of the mechanical pencil, rotate the upper barrel. [Fig.2]

Turn the eraser cap counterclockwise and remove it to reveal the eraser.

Replacing a ballpoint pen refill

Pull the lower barrel to remove.

Pull the empty refill out.

Insert a new refill completely into the refill holder.

Firmly insert the removed lower barrel all the way to the back.
How to refill a mechanical pencil with new lead refills

Pull the lower barrel to remove.

Twist and extend the mechanical pencil.

With the pen tip pointing upward, hold the lead pipe and pull out the mechanical pencil unit.

Drop in the replacement lead refills.
* Inserting four or more lead refills may cause the guide pipe to clog. -

Firmly insert the mechanical pencil unit into the lead pipe all the way to the back.

Firmly insert the removed lower barrel all the way to the back.
Refills for ballpoint pens and spare leads for mechanical pencils
- Please use PILOT's BRFS-10F (0.7 mm ball diameter) as the ballpoint pen refill.
* The easiest way to find the right ballpoint pen refill is to bring the refill that you usually use as a sample. - Please use only genuine PILOT 0.5 mm products for the mechanical pencil’s lead refills. There are 8 degree leads.
- Please use PILOT's HERFS-10 for eraser refill.
Remarks
- Please do not use this product for any purpose other than writing.
- Keep away from children.
- Do not put the head crown, eraser, mechanical pencil unit, or any other parts into your mouth.
- Avoid writing with the nib angled above the horizontal because it may cause the ink to leak.
- Avoid vigorous shaking or excessive force because this may damage the writing tip or pencil lead refills.
- Avoid severe impact or violent shaking because the ink may leak.
- Always retract the writing tip after use.
- Please be warned that applying chemicals, including solvents, such as alcohol, causes cracks or discoloration.
- Note that it may not be possible to remove this ink if it accidentally gets on your clothes.
- Do not store in places exposed to direct sunlight or high temperatures.
